For those who are not watching the game.......don't worry your not missing anything.  Only 1 player performing out of our squad.....Bellamy.  An absolute shocking first half.  No tactics, midfield lost, gaping holes...and they've just scored their 3rd.

Don't make the same mistake twice, there's plenty of new ones to choose from.

stoke and bolton, never easy games for a megastar.

and as for the team, FFS, I've seen more balance in a one legged a.rse kicking contest

Bolton's record before today: P21 L15

They have the worst home record in all divisions of professional and semi professional football in England.

We should be able to expect better.

I hadn't realised that their record was THAT bad, Tes.  Wow.  We have sunk to new lows.

Thing is, Bolton entirely deserved their win.

FSG have some hard thinking to do me thinks!

They need to look hard at their own decisions. Allowing £35M to be spent on a player when we didn't have a permanent manager. Whether either/or Dalglish/Comolli wanted the deal at that price, when you don't have a permanent manager to decide how that player is to be utilised, it's a high risk strategy to pursue.

Also their lack of a 'football man' on the board needs to be questioned.

Thing is, Bolton entirely deserved their win.

You wouldn't have been able to guess who was in what position in the league from today's game. Bolton's players looked like they want to escape relegation more than ours want to qualify for some form of European football.

With Chelsea drawing and Newcastle getting hammered the result is even more disappointing.

If we play like that against City it will like a practice match for them and we'll lose our best chance of securing European football. Two seasons without any European football will start to have an effect on the level of sponsorship and partnership deals we will be able to do and the revenues will start to drop.

The next 4.5 months could prove crucial to the next five years for us.

I hope the ink is dry on the Warrior contract!

That massive contract was based on Rafa's awesome work at the club.

Yes, with the tripe we have seen since his overthrow, and more tripe to come, we will be in serious revenue raising territory.

Didnt see it but by the sounds of it I didnt miss anything.

As far as the result goes I wouldnt be suggesting any knee jerk reactions. That said its impossible to ignore that the team isnt performing.  I'm still hopeful Kenny can make this team a success but if he cant get the team performing between now and the end of the season I understand serious questions will have to be asked.

I assume Ngog looked more the 35 million pound player than Carroll did?

Sad, but true, unfortunately Juan.

How did Adam play Tes? He was one of the new signings I thought had settled the best but in the last month or two he has regressed and has started to look a weak link.

I still think Henderson will prove his worth in time. I was looking around at the likes of Phil Jones, Roman Luakaku (spelling), Henderson and the next generation of young players coming through. They were all big money but it will take time for them to actually become the next generation. So i dont necessarily think Henderson is an exception or a poor signing.

Ha shocking. If we could get 20 million for Carroll now it might be worth cutting our losses and running.

We can put the 20 million toward bringing Ngog back  :P
