Critical Next 3 Games
« on: February 04, 2010, 08:27:04 PM »
With Everton,Arsenal and Man City our next 3 league games how many points does everyone think we'll get? With Man City having 2 games in hand i think these 3 games will shape the rest of our season.

Obviously i'd like 9 pts, but i would be happy with 5 and delighted if we got 7.

can't recall if arsenal is home or away......assuming away (vague memory of them coming to anfield earlier this season)

if we don't get points against everton, then we could ultimately get zero points from these three fixtures (or maybe a solitary point at city).

We play Arsenal away Dude. Who could forget that bloody Arshavin and his goal at Anfield.  :(

Everton will be difficult. hard to separate head from heart. At worst a score draw but if Rafa picks an attacking side then an odd goal win is my guess.

I think the game at City is quite winnable. They don't keep clean sheets that often whereas our defence is getting its act together.

Arsenal away if tricky. Which Arsenal will turn up?  maybe we can learn from Manure how to play them but without Torres it will be difficult. At best a score draw.
Cheers,
Ray

Ruskies are probably happier in London than up north. Are there any playing outside the capital? Moscow Centre probably has them working as moles in their spare time!  :) Sorry, I loved Tinker Tailor.  ;)

apart from the nihilists, LA is pretty nice (apart from the smog, the violence, the gangs, and the asshole billionaires, and the up their own bottom movie stars).

F**k it, why shouldn't we look for 9! Granted it's not going to be easy but I don't understand why half the players think that they're fit to wear the shirt if they can't show up for these games and make a difference.

Toffees showed they have no bottle when Utd's reserves beat them in the FA cup semi-final last year. Arsenal flatter to deceive as usual and City need to be put in their place.

The Greek has shown the way forward, so let's see who shows up for these games and take it from there. It's up to the players though cos the window is shut. Put up or shut up!
