I agree, it's just that the pundits tells us after we've struggled in a game we played 4-2-3-1 that we'd have won if we'd gone 4-4-2. Zonal marking v man-to-man marking is another one of their obvious answers to all our problems.

Funny how these so-called pundits never have their decisions questioned on TV by other pundits! THat would be really interesting.

Football has never been an exact science and never will be. It's not just in England big teams are struggling. Real Madrid drew 0-0 with Mallorca on Sunday. With all that talent and Jose to boot and still couldn't break down one of the weakest teams in La Liga!

But I digress!  ;D

And of course non of the ex-pro pundits ever suffered from a lack of fitness or match sharpness during the first half dozen games of the season. Strange how the wonderful English way of doing things has never proven to be particularly or consistantly successful, yet is still pushed as the only way that really works.
Don't make the same mistake twice, there's plenty of new ones to choose from.

Those who choose to preach would do well to take note of their own sermons.
