CJ totally disagree with your comments regarding the derby? The result was all that mattered and it was a fantastic demonstration of character from the lads (which has always been one of the bedrocks on which the club is built). The fact that Rafa can fire the guys (mostly foreign) up for such a game is a very good sign.
Regarding style there is an argument (to which I subscribe) that defensive stability is the platform upon which good football properly rests. We have slowly been re-establishing that over the course of the last 6 or 7 games and when the flair players are back from injury or fully match fit, I expect us to turn it on, on a more regular basis.
Admittedly, it could certainly be argued that Rafa has been a bit negative in the past but it has been a slow building process that saw us last season being also absolutely devastating in attack. This season was an attempt to build on that again by introducing more attacking full-backs (unfortunately for a variety of reasons that hasn't quite worked yet!)
Anyway, my point is that I would never support a team without character, perhaps you should think about supporting Arsenal if pretty triangles is all you seem to care about! Victoria Concordia Crescit or whatever their motto is....YNWA
